Truth be told...

I usually don't make journals like this, but it's so true...So here we go:

Working on it...

Sat Mar 18, 2006, 2:18 AM
March 17, yesterday, since it's 2:10 A.M. over here, was my birthday. Ol' Saint Patty's day. I got some Prisma color pencils from my father as well as some drawing books and such. I drew this weird leperchaun-like charector in one of the drawing books and now I'm coloring it with the Prisma colors. And...Damn those Prismas are good. I don't even have much practice with color pencils and am probably below decent, maybe a D+ when it comes to their use, but these Prisma color pencils make me look like I'm a B+ student. They're so good and they blend so easily, I only wish I had more knowledge on how to use them to make my drawings look even better colored. Oh well, I guess when I finish it I'll submit it. It's a little large to fit it inthe scanner so I'll have to use a camera, it's a good thing my mother got a new digitial camera or I'd be screwed, hehe. Oh well...

Um, I haven't submitted much writing at all lately, mostly because of an artist's block. I haven't been having many ideas or much inspiration at all, and the metaphors and use of words are the same thing over and over again, not much originality. I guess I can try some new stuff, so watch out for something new if I submit anything. I have probably 14 faithfull watchers out of....46? Dunno', but thanks for being there even if I hardly ever am posting anything anymore. dA just hasn't been my first priority lately. Haha, not to sound like one of those MySpace dorks or anyhing, but some comments would be nice every once in a while. Thanks for reading, later days.

Haha, fun..

Thu Feb 9, 2006, 8:13 PM
Um, Ok I was gone for a little bit...Yeah....A few days without dA, what fun. Not that I've been posting much lately anyways, mind a poem or two...

I got photoshop and am currently CGing a friend's drawing. His lines are weird and stuff so It's turning out quite tacky. It's also a very low version of Photoshop (Photoshop 4.0) so of course I don't have many options to color with and do lineart with. I had to do the lineart by zooming in and going over his original drawing with the brush (yikes).

Um, yes, I might submit that into scraps when it's done....Also tell Austin to make his freakin' lines neater....He doesn't have a dA page, so yeah.....Don't ask.

Too much craptacular drama at school. I hate school life and semi-decent friends D: Shoot me if I sound too emo. And everybody knows even a little emo is too emo....

I want those stores to finish being built a couple blocks down from my house so I can go apply for some jobs and get some cash in my pocket. Grr, I'm probably going to blow it in the interview anyways. Go figure, the stores aren't even finished being built yet and I don't even have a work permit and I'm already worrying about that....

Um...yeah, that's it.....Later.

Time to upload more journal entries....

Wed Feb 1, 2006, 12:01 AM
Um, yes, I do...

Ok, I'm writing a lot more lately. If I get to it, I might submit my drawing of the a dog's skeleton from a side angle. I don't know why I would even bother having it on dA, probably a scrap, but not now....

As you can see I've been writing more lately, yay me. I'm not a dead account just yet!

I might end up submitting some 'spiritual' poetry. I've already submitted one, so I may submit more. Just keep in mind I don't care for negetive comments or any mislead stereotypes so don't bother posting any of those unless you want to be reported for harrassment. It's just the way I role. Though it's always helpfull if you can comment, tell me what you like, ways I can improve, things that you catch that sound akward, etc. Constructive critisism, pretty much, as well as comments.

I check dA about 5 times a day from the time I get home at 5:00 P.M (U.S. West Coastal time) to 11:00 P.M, so notes and comments will be read for sure!

I've been learning how to draw in what is more commonly known as 'anime' style. I like the word 'doujisnhi' better, because it's what it's actually called, since 'manga' is Japanese for 'comic' and 'anime' is just what the Japanese call cartoons....'animation,' 'anime' see the resemblance? Anyway, I've got a whole lot better since 2004, when I started drawing it. In fact I've improved more in this 1 year and couple-o'-months than people I know who have been drawing their whole lives. I'll have to submit something sometime.

Despite the typical attitude towards doujinshi people, "Drawing only anime holds you back from becoming a real artist!" I've gotten a whole lot better at drawing things all around in a few different styles. Sadly enough I don't keep those...I kept the dog skeleton drawing, but onle because I use it to study some basic dog/wolf skeletol anatomy.

PISSES ME OFF!!!
I've got to the point where I'm stereotyping liberal journalists and news reporters as total lyers and desperate cheapskate bastards. Straight Edge is a way of life, it means 'Drug Free' and respect for people and having a sense of family in community. This dickhead journalist/reporter whatever he is does a little bit of digging, hits some granite, stops digging and finds that the hardcore kids are doing the opposite of what Straight Edge stands for by beating people on the street and smoking marijuana. He has no proof at all that they are Straight Edge, but that's what he's trying to pass it off as. He's trying to say that Straight Edge is a gang, like the Cryps or Bulldogs, whatever. It's total bullshit. His report said that they cought one of the teenagers who was 'wearing a bandana over his face(clearly a hardcore thing) and had marijuana in his pocket(Goes against Straight Edge to have drugs or alchohol)" and that's all they went by. They're targeting Straight Edge because it's a big thing and spreading lies about it. Hardcore is a way of life, also, but quite the opposite of Straight Edge. It's pretty much a rebbellious thing, where the kids do what they want, smoke, do drugs and drunk. What these reports are doing is just the same as what they did to Insane Clown Posse's 'Juggulo' and 'Juggulette' thing: spread bullshit about it and now people are scared of it because of what the bullshit media has told them rather than what they stand for: family and friends. Now there are people claiming to be juggalos and juggalettes that do the opposite of what it originally stood for, giving it a different meaning than what was meant. Fucking hate the liberal media.

Anyways, my rant's out of the way. Um, I'm learning to play guitar. Yay, go me. Um, I can play the American National Anthem and part of AFI's God Called In Sick Today. It's pretty easy, but I just started playing guitar, so I need to practice more. I haven't been practicing nearly as much as I should be, in fact I didn't even pick it up today....Bwah

I hate rabid fangirls and rabid fanboys. No matter how much you want your yaoi bullshit to happen it won't happen. There's a reason it doesn't happen in the actual anime/manga/movie/show. We don't need your retardedness defacing it for your own pleasure, it makes the rest of us fans look like utter crap because of what you did and makes people lose interest in your fandom because of the crap you pulled. If you're going to watch the show/etc, watch it for what it is and not the charectors. If you like the charector's faces or bodies and whatnot, draw your frickin' own people to do that with and spare everyone else your self-gratified, crudely drawn major insult to the creator of the charectors and story.

Um, I ranted...didn't plan on going on a couple of rants, but I got cought up in the moment. It's now 12:01 in the morning and my brain are no think good. G'night.

60 degree ChristmasEve

Sat Dec 24, 2005, 2:32 PM
(61 degrees actually)

Here in California it's Christmas Eve, the day before Christmas....and it's 60 degrees ferenheit. Harhar, what fun, eh? I remember only one time that it snowed in Fresno, and that was probably....12 years ago? Maybe 10? Haha, but I like this better, makes me feel like I'm at some retarded version of Hawaii without a beach....or resorts and whatnot....

Yay...

I'm learning some wolf anatomy, yay for me! I hate drawing wolves from the front and certain angles, I can't draw the muzzle, or whatever you want to call it, right. Ironic, eh? I'd be learning anatomy of dogs and wolves and not know what the nose-thing is called....
